Western District Hand and Occupational Therapy is a Warrnambool based business specialising in the rehabilitation of conditions of the hand and upper limb.  Our goal is to help client's with hand and upper limb problems to achieve their best possible outcomes.

 

Western District Hand Therapy was established  in 2004 by Catherine Reid who originally operated from rooms on Timor Street. Cath’s Raglan Parade practice was established in  2013, this clinic is easily accessible and is close to both St John of God hospital and South West Health Care.

 

Cath has had over 20 years experience as a Hand Therapist both in Australia and overseas.  Cath has worked as a senior clinician at both the Royal Adelaide and St Vincents in Melbourne as well as Chief Hand Therapist at PANCH (now the Northern) before taking up a position as lecturer in the Musculo skeletal stream at La Trobe University.  Cath received a Rotary Academic Scholarship to complete research as part of her Master of Science in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitaion in Ontario Canada and is a full member of the AHTA.
